Three weeks
Which means…
The cane arrived yesterday, full time which means the walker has been retired, soon to be permanently folded and stored away.
The recliner is still the fave chair of Mr Husband though now it’s no longer serving as also-a-bed, which means he’s sleeping in the real bed on the tempur-pedic. Which means Mr Husband can now lift right leg without assistance from yoga band.
The all important measure of the knee bend is at 105° which means Mr husband can now sit in regular height chairs which means he could accompany to car service waiting area.
The pain is lingering but now limited to one hard muscle knot above the knee which means Mr Husband’s diligent massaging has returned positive results.
The left knee was replaced last December which means we don’t have to calendar another knee surgery.
Which means we have, of course, created our own celebration phrase which means:
Aren’t we happy to have only two knees.

Thanks, and yes I live with the ice machine on! Your post motivated me to keep at that knee bend. My wife is now my coach and “support” person on that…ouch!
You guys are about a week and a half ahead of me! It’s funny… this morning I was trying to figure out how I would describe my progress so far, and all I could come up with was “it’s not as bad as I thought it would be, but I sure don’t plan to do this mire than twice!” I have along way to go on the angle of knee bending. I have never purposely done something that hurts that much before! Thanks for posting this and keep em’ coming. This gives me something to look forward to!
